I got tagged for what is basically one of my fave tag games by just yesterday, which reminded me that I also had a tag for the same meme pending from from way back, so I’m doing both now (with apologies to Epi for the huge delay :’D) Just like any other skill, magic needed to be practised and perfected. Indeed, the benefits of living in Wyvern’s Bay for a warlock were many, but relying on raw power alone wasn’t enough.
After all, it was hardly a coincidence that his magical aura - a trait normally possessed only by the oldest and most powerful amongst their kind - had manifested right upon his arrival to The Bay. And indeed, from the very moment he set foot on Wyvern’s Bay ground, Gabriel could feel the arcane forces that fuelled magic tugging and pulling at his senses, potent and almost tangible. The inherently magical nature of the town allowed him to bend the laws of physics more easily than ever before: spellcasting came so much more… naturally here, almost like the very fabric of reality was more mutable somehow. Living in The Bay was doing wonders for his powers. Now that the family’s financial and living situations had become more or less stable, Gabriel could dedicate more time to honing his magical skills. Especially on a beautiful clear day such as this, when the flight conditions were perfect! One would think that going all the way to Sim City for work and then back would be tedious, but it was only an hour away by broom, and Gabriel had rather come to enjoy the commute. Gabriel had no time to greet Alison, by salute or otherwise, as he had to leave for work. The woman introduced herself as Alison Eves (just Alison Eves, no “sir”), and despite the initial misunderstanding, they seemed to hit it off right away! Happy to finally meet a lady knight, Annika greeted in what she believed to be the proper way - a salute - only to be greeted back with hearty laughter. 😒Ī new face came by today! Quite the trip she undertook, coming all the way from the city just to pay the Blackbirds a visit!Īnnika’s first thought was that she must have been a knight: her athletic figure and chainmail clothes all pointed in favour of this theory. Yo ACR, what the actual fuck? 😱☠ It was just (“just”, lol) a kiss on the hand so there was no Kiss memory, but the aftermath of it is that apparently both Annika and Tom are now in love with each other? 😅😅😅 SMH, ACR way to produce an actual slash pairing in my game. The magically produced dessert seemed to be a hit with both the visitors and the family - everyone wanted seconds! Their bellies full, they chatted and laughed and mingled, and everything seemed fine for a while.

Before long, the Blackbird home is as crowded as a bus station - being the sociable extrovert that she is, Annika invited in anyone who happened to be passing by, and apparently a lot of people were passing by that day.
